Talents connexion issues and objectives:
- Highlight emerging talent that is little-identified on the market
- Enable talents to present their projects to established professionals
- Create a porous zone between education/training/pre-professionals and professionals/short film industry/production
- Facilitate meetings between emerging filmmakers and producers/distributors, and understand the challenges of the short film economy.
- Open up to international talent to create more exchanges on talent support practices.

A program combining visibility, workshops, networking and experience sharing.
In 2026, Talents connexion continues to promote emerging French, European and international talent at the Short Film Market!
Supported by leading structures in the film industry, the talents are welcomed to the Agora, a dedicated space in the Short Film Market, every afternoon from Monday to Thursday, to present their short film projects. All professionals looking for new talent are welcome!
The Talents Connection program also enables participants to benefit from a special program of themed workshops and dedicated meetings with professionals and production students.
