Euro Connection is the main platform for the coproduction of short films

The 19th edition of Euro Connection will take place on Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 February 2027 during the Short Film Market in Clermont-Ferrand, with support from the Creative Europe and the PROCIREP. A selection of XR projects will complete the coproduction forum. (See the specific link for submitting a project)

The 2027 call for projects is now open. Any production company based in one of this year’s partner countries (see the full list in the document below) may submit a project to its local contact by October 20, 2026.

Euro Connection is a co-production forum designed for European producers, broadcasters, distributors and financial backers looking to partner on quality short projects from a diversity of European country. Producers and authors of selected projects are offered online script sessions and pitch training prior to pitching their project and meet potential co-producers in Clermont-Ferrand.

Euro Connection includes:

  • Script consulting session (online, Dec. 2026)
  • Pitch training workshop (Clermont-Ferrand, Monday 1 Feb. 2027).
  • Pitching sessions (Clermont-Ferrand, Tuesday 2 Feb. 2027).
  • Facilitated networking for producers and attending participants.
  • One-on-one business meetings (Clermont-Ferrand, Wednesday 3 Feb. 2027).

Associated countries for the 2027 call for projects are:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Malta, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Ukraine.

142 films were completed, including 77 international co-productions, as a result from the first 18 editions. 

Euro Connection is organised by Sauve qui peut le court métrage, as part of the Short Film Market, with the support of the Creative Europe MEDIA program and PROCIREP.
