Les Petits Ateliers du court return to mille formes, an art initiation centre for 0-6 year olds
Come and discover a fun space for everyone, build a story and see images come to life through the magic of pre-cinema and animated film. It’s a chance for the little ones to introduce the older ones to the world of film, through a range of introductory workshops, and to get into the shoes of a budding filmmaker.

Art initiation centre for 0-6 year olds
A place designed by the city, in partnership with the Centre Pompidou, as a space for experimentation where young children can come into contact with contemporary art in all its forms.
Children will discover art through gestures and interaction with a new environment. Exchanging ideas, working together, observing artists in their creative process: these are all gestures that will make this space a new territory to practice and explore, in which the adult will be just as much a player as the child.
Moving sand
A workshop led by Chaïtane Conversat, director and screenwriter of animated films for Folimage Studios, in partnership with the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and Mille formes.
Director, screenwriter, set designer and graphic artist, Chaïtane Conversat invites young participants and their accompanying adults to create animated images using a very special material: sand. An invitation to let the imagination run free and create unexpected stories.
From Pre-cinema to Stop-motion
A place to let your imagination run wild
Create, cut out, draw, fold, glue, move objects around and bring them to life using optical techniques dating back to the invention of cinema (thaumatrope, zoetrope, folioscope…) or create an animated film using digital tablets…
