Sousou's Tiktok

Sousou’s TikTok is a 10-minute dark comedy about a housewife who goes live on TikTok to discreetly sell hyper-feminine bridal products behind her controlling husband’s back. When he enters mid-stream, the cheerful tone cracks and the audience senses something is wrong. What begins as a bubbly sales pitch of creams, lingerie and lip plumpers slowly unravels into a chilling portrait of coercion. As Sara struggles to keep the performance alive, the violence escalates offscreen. The film sheds light on the blurred line between online personals and lived reality, confronting domestic violence and the societal silence and complacency that often surround it.
