LAMENTO shows the construction of desire and affect. The script for this is a composition of extracted verses from famous love songs and sampled organ sounds. A woman and a man find themselves in a sitcom set, HE is sitting on the sofa, the TV is on, a car drives up, SHE comes in. There's an immediate conflict of which the characters themselves might not even know the origin.
