The Saudi Film Festival is the pioneering film event in Saudi Arabia, launched in 2008 as the country’s first independent film festival. Through its diverse programs, including film screenings, workshops, seminars, and competitions, the festival fosters creative talent and promotes cultural diversity. Organised by the Cinema Association in Al Khobar, in partnership with Ithra and supported by the Saudi Film Commission, the festival has become a cornerstone for Saudi cinema, inspiring new generations of filmmakers and sharing Saudi stories with the world.
